I can't tell you one way or the other - it may just be individual preference.
Last but not least, for more or less $1,400, you could get a very small, two-person, infrared-heated two person out-of-doors sauna. This sauna appears pretty minimalist - and I think it is, but it appears to offer the necessary heating system, and room for two. It's weather resistant, and works on common 120V energy - meaning that you may plug it into an existing outdoor circuit, with no exceptional wiring necessary! I did determine that it doesn't heat further than 140 degrees F - does that be a problem for you? Only you can know for sure.
The outdoor sauna doesn't have to be too expensive or complicated, or really difficult to improve - do some hunting around now and find an outdoor sauna that will meet your requirements and your pocketbook!
